This “pure” Merlot undergoes a prolonged maceration inside wooden casks in order that the maximum levels of colour and tannins can be extracted from the grapes. Lightly filtered before bottling, where it is left to age for several months, the resulting wine has a wonderfully intense ruby red colour with violet shades, and an intense yet typical bouquet with slight hints of red berry fruits and spice. Rich, full-bodied and supple on the palate, with great intensity and structure.
